"It was really challenging to watch your [on-screen] fiancé almost die in front of you. That was hard and satisfying in the end, but it's scary to go to those places. Plus: It was action-packed, and I'm a guy!"

"There was a moment when we were in the rain. Clay gets into the car and Quinn was so frustrated with not knowing where the relationship is going. I had a line: 'What are we even doing?' I know that frustration so well, and it was such a real, honest moment."

To be in the position … where my entire job revolved around the behind-the-scenes aspect was a sensational experience and made me even more aware as an actor."

"My favorite one would be when we had to do a river boat scene, which was so fun because I got to punch Danny [Woodburn] who played Marty. I think it's funny when they put Chris Keller with people totally opposite to him."
